steady’s Inventory Display Software is a system that displays inventory data in a consumer facing manner for internal / external sales purposes. The system consists of 3 main software components – a CMS, a Middleware and a Front-end Display Application.
The CMS allows for the configuration and prioritization of live inventory. Inventory can be edited, ordered and re-assigned. An idle loop configurator allows for location specific idle loops to be built/deployed remotely.
The Middleware component scrapes daily inventory dumps and feeds them into the CMS for easy management. During this process the Middleware performs comparison data checks to add/remove data keeping all presentation views current. Middleware scrapes take place on an assigned timestamp basis.
Front-end Display Application
The Front-end Display Application reads the incoming data and displays inventory in a consumer friendly manner. Users can sift through available inventory via product grids, carousels, filters, search functionality and create a wish list.
